A monumental encounter at the summit with the artworks of Andrea Roggi & Bruno Catalano in the heart of the prestigious Alpine resort of Courchevel
ANDREA ROGGI
Andrea Roggi's “Trees of Life” are inspired by the ancient cypress and olive trees that surround his studio. Human figures are integrated into plant forms, blending into a homogeneous whole imbued with magical realism, where various elements combine to create dazzling works of art.
His figures represent humanity as a whole, forged and shaped by time and space, with bronze as the material illustrating this metamorphosis.
Artist of the “Travellers,” Bruno Catalano stops from face to face for the duration of a sculpture, seeking to capture in each of his models the unique baggage they carry with them.
His emblematic “Travellers” represent men, women, and children moving forward, luggage in hand, driven by determinations that the public is free to imagine.
